Some places are worth visiting just to watch everyone else enjoy them. The park above La Jolla Cove is one of them.
On this afternoon the lawn was full: families on blankets, kids running between the palm trees, people taking photos under the old twisted trees, and a steady stream of walkers along the ocean railing. Clouds were rolling in over the water, but nobody seemed to care.
No big drama in this one. Just a perfect slice of a Southern California weekend.
